More & more I find I am losing control, artistically, drawing things I shouldn't know how to draw & using symbols I haven't yet deciphered & only after a sketch is completed do I even begin to comprehend the message I am sending, or rather, is being sent through me.
In other words, I cannot explain what anything I create means any better than you can. When I finish a drawing, I spend more time than it took to make it to analyze it, try to make some sense of it, research the patterns I notice are repeating, & study study study every work of art ever made looking for clues.
Therefore, any insights you have are greatly appreciated.
What I can say about this one, so far, is that I know it was an attempt to draw the face I see in the rust of my singing saw, right at the sweet-spot, right where I hit it to get that ghostly howling sound. (I will also quickly say that there are several "faces" in the rust, different ones depending on my mood, & this one I see when I'm feeling mischievous-happy-excited)
